A simply stunning setting

Mellington Hall Holiday Home Park is a family owned business made up of the Hall itself which we operate as a hotel and the stunning estate grounds in which our Holiday Home Park is located.

Our Holiday Home Park is a beautifully unique experience. We’re a mile away from main road up a stunning tree lined private driveway so there’s total peace and quiet. Our Park is set within 270 acres of estate grounds with dozens of interesting rare trees planted by the late owner Mr Jack Evans which still grace the Park today.

Acres of space in beautiful countryside

You could easily come to Mellington Hall and never leave, it is so peaceful, where an abundant of wildlife such as ducks, swans and geese swim on the pool, rabbits run freely and the woodpeckers do their rounds of the trees. Kingfishers can be spotted flitting between the trees and over the pools too, so bring your binoculars! The Offa’s Dyke path runs through the grounds. Offa’s Dyke is a huge linear earthwork structure which runs roughly along the current border between England and Wales. Construction is believed to have started in 785 and continued for several years. The Dyke was intended to place a boundary between King Offa’s domain and the Welsh kingdom of Powys. In fact, Mellington Hall is the only hotel/caravan park on the whole of the Offa’s Dyke path so we attract many walkers throughout the season. There is also access to dozens of local walks around the stunning nearby countryside.

Year-round enjoyment

We have wheelchair friendly roads and footpaths too, well lit with subdued lighting.
We have an extended season as we are open for 12 months of the year for holiday purposes only. This is an attractive benefit as many parks close during the winter months.
The beautifully landscaped grounds are lovingly maintained by our resident dedicated grounds staff which provide a unique rural retreat.
